She has been the Chairman of the Sculptors Association of Iceland, member of the board of The National Gallery of Iceland, Member of the board of the Visual Arts Committee of the Ministry of Culture, lectured at Cleveland State University, the Cleveland Art Institute, USA and Sydney Art School in Australia.
